Other Neat Stuff
Dewey has
already made several nursing homes visits.
Dewey and his sisters Comet and Misty are siblings in the first litter
we whelped. These three puppies were our keepers from the litter
of seven. They jumped the number of our Siberian Husky kids from
four to seven.
Conformation
Dewey made his debut at 6 months 5 days of
age by placing 2nd to his cousin JR . After a layoff for
blowing his puppy coat and to do a little maturing, Dewey had one
great August 2006 weekend at match shows where he was entered
in Open. He went BOB, Group 1 in the first match and
followed that by going BOB, Group 1, Best Adult In Match in
the second match. Dewey got into the win column
when he got his first point by going WD
in early September 2006. Dewey continued his winning ways
with several consecutive RWDs and then on consecutive days took WD for 2 points and a 4 point major at the
Siberian Husky Club of Delaware Valley (WD, BOW, BBBE). The next day he was Best Puppy at the Garden State Siberian Husky Club. At
the Crown Classic in Cleveland during December 2006 Dewey placed 2nd
in BBE twice & 3rd twice. While points (that 2nd major) would
have been nice this was a very respectable showing for a 16 month
old puppy in a very competitive class. On February 17, 2007
Dewey earned his AKC Championship title by going WD,
BOW for a 5 point major at the Connecticut Valley Siberian
Husky Club Specialty.
Since then Dewey
has been taking it easy until the Perkiomen Valley KC show on
8/3/07. where he was enetred as a special for the first time and
went BOB, Group 4!!!
