JUDGES WHY?
Barbara Dempsey Alderman She will do what she wants. Great with the dogs and puppies. Will give breed from the classes. Goes for cute. She can at times be political though. She likes to put up from the classes breed instead of the specials. She does this consistantly.
Alan Bennett Put up Dewey
Mrs. Terry Berrios Movement; honest
Edd Bivin Will give a handling lesson in the ring. He doesn't tolerate nonsense and will find a good dog. He judges the dogs and actually tries to help the exhibitor. On of the best judges in the AKC. Never looks at who is on the other end of the lead. Strictly judges the dogs and bitches for their quality and conformation. Would not hesitate to show under him any time. All breed judge who really knows a good dog when he sees it. #1 on my DNS list.
Phyllis Brayton Faces, faces, faces
Allan Brown Gave Lucy BOS as a Special in Staten Island May 2005 in his only Siberian assignment; I'm entering Digger & Comet
Donna Buxton she likes and knows good movement and doesn't care who is at the end of the leash. She judges the dog.
Lee Canalizo Movement, side gait, structure
Mrs. Houston (Toddie) Clark Prefers black/white. Likes good moving, well-structured dog. Can be political.
Mr. Dana Cline have found him fair, liking good structure and type. He seems to lean toward handlers IMO. Never a problem under Dana Cline,, winning or losing,, I think he is fair,
Marc Cohen Liked Dewey but said he was still immature
Jon R. Cole Arrogant, appears to like being "creative" and controversial in his judging. A "Giant Killer". Prefers dogs presented by the young ladies over other well, or better qualified entries. Good with puppies.
John Connolly a boxer guy so he does look for heads on a dog. He will put up owner handlers or handlers, doesn't matter- but the dog must give ears in order to put them up. If no ears, then he will pass on you. He will also put up a dog out of coat if the head is there.
Ann Mariah Cook Faces, faces, faces
Doris Cozart can and does appreciate correct movement and will put a puppy up. Very gentle with the dogs--and seemed to enjoy judging.  She is very good with puppy antics!
Anitra Cuneo Likes my dogs; goes hot & cold
William Daugherty Deserves another shot; looks like a movement guy
Pete Dawkins He is very nice to show to and really seems to have a good time. Anytime he is judging I make it a point to go watch his ring. He is very nice to the exhibitors and dogs. He will put up a young dog as well.
Dr. Anthony DiNardo likes a beautiful head and movement. He is kind and good with puppies. Always a pleasure to show to. He judges dogs wow what a concept.
Sheila DiNardo very gentle in her approach and demeanor. recommend her highly for puppies and for dogs who are sensitive or new to the ring.  I imagine she would be very pleasant for a novice exhibitor to show to.
Nancy A. Dinkfelt Looks at the dog. Movement & cute factor. Will put up a young dog. Amy & Spenser
Marie Falconer I haven't shown to her yet but will here.  She gave Ryser (Frankie-Lucy '06 pup) win. Same body style as Ari; I'm entering Digger & Comet
Robert Forsyth Has an understanding of a soundly-made example of the breeds they've judged, and I wouldn't hesitate to give him an entry. Has never appeared to demand animation as the final motivator in giving the points. Seems to have an appreciation for the intent of the various Breed Standards.
James E. Frederiksen Puts up what he wants to do and will use a BBE - he loves to dump specials!  Will do whatever he wants, including giving group placements to worthy puppies.  A whole-picture kind of judge who doesn't get lost in details. And, show him something with expression and showmanship.
Roger D. Gifford Tends to look for faces -- I may do Dauphin DTC agility (if they ever reply to my email)
Dr. Donald Gill He likes what his friends are showing - not worth an entry. Very political. puts up faces. save your money.
Pat Hess Likes Webster type
Nelson R. Huber He's always worth an entry. He has absolutely no compunction in telling you which dog he thinks is best and why, if asked.
Norman Kenney Rude & obnoxious
Linda Krukar tends to judge the total picture, and will go with the dog that presents the most virtues rather than faults. She appreciates good movement too.
John Landis Looks at structure, movement
Michaele Aidhigan Mac Gorman Likes our dogs; big on movement; minimize "products" on dogs
Lester Mapes likes what he likes... he will put up a class dog over a special... he does like clean movement... coming and going if that is required of your breed... and likes putting up bitches...Fair minded, good hand, not political. listen to his instructions very carefully. He is great with the dogs and his knowledge of the standards is impeccable, but he seemed to get flustered when a lady did the wrong pattern. very patient with puppies. Make sure it's small :-).........he doesn't like a large dog/bitch
Kimberly Meredith-Cavana Probably the most pleasant judge I have ever shown to. Greeted the exhibitors in each class. Thanked the exhibitors for coming. Could tell that she LIKES judging! Gave each exhibitor a good look. Was interested in making it a pleasant experience for the dogs- talked to them, if they were at all timid, tried to make it as pleasant as possible- very good with puppies. Will put up O/H.
Robert Moore Has a buzzer and likes the expression.  No bait, no toys, no fun allowed. I tend to not take puppies to him but will enter the adults to him.
Linda C. More Gave Misty BOB day after her CH. Pleasant enough to show to. Appears to be actually comparing all of her entries, but by her procedure it is not really clear that she has picked out the best ones upon first glance, although her results are understandable. Seems to give the owner handlers a fair break, even though she was a professional handler herself for many years.
Patricia Mowbray-Morgan Inconsistent. Wouldn't know a good dog
George Murray Very good with the pup who was going through some issues with having the judge approach him. He was matter of fact going over the dog, pleasant to me, and from what I observed in the group, he was willing to use owner handlers in his placements.
Elizabeth Muthard pleasant to show to liked dogs in the middle of the size range. Looked for type and movement. Went with a Ch dog for best of opp- I think the WD would have been a better choice.
Helene Nietsch Put up Lucy & Webster
James Noe Handlers all the way. good with puppies and will put them up. He appears to judge to the standard and I have seen him put up a deserving puppy for breed over specials. Likes a moderate male with beautiful movement and tons of expression and flash.
Charlie Olvis Movement, expecially side gait
Bobbie Palmer Politics big time!!!
Betty Lou Parris Movement
Margretta Patterson-Kaufman Likes good movers-side gait as well as the down and back. Likes a smaller dog. Llikes a nice front. Will judge dogs honestly. Llikes a good go around and breed type. Will put up for winners from ANY class. Make sure you present yourself well too and dress nice. She is a good judge....and fair. Loves a pretty mover, does not like bad bites.
Angela Porpora Likes Spenser & Comet
John Cruz Ramirez Great judge!!
Lenora M. Riddle
Cecilia (Cec) Ringstrom
May 2006 gave Misty WB, BW & JR WD in Staten Island May 2006; I'm entering Digger & Comet
Janet H. Robinson She is going to go for a really cute face. She put up both of my corgi pups (based on their cuteness and coat more than their gaiting) recently at our Specialty. I have no idea of her knowledge of Sibes!!! She can be all over the place. (Melody)
Lt. Col. Charles Ruppert Will put up non-faces; good judge
William Sahloff Knows a good dog but handlers
Charlie Schaefer Marie, Marie, Marie
Nina Schaefer Movement, expecially side gait
M. Ann Schwartz going to do whatever she wants. She doesn't focus on who is showing the dog and she doesn't care what class it's in. Last time I showed to her she thought my dog was too small for those of you with Siberians closer to the top of the standard. He was a puppy and you can't measure for that in Siberians. I wasn't unhappy with her judging that day. I'm pretty sure she gave a friend's min pin a BIS, and that was a dog from the classes, who ended up with a couple more BIS, BOH. (Marti Rhyne)
Joan Scott Will put up Owner handlers - not sure about looking for correct size etc the times. Has put up the best dog in the ring no matter who had the lead.
Dr. Harry Smith very nice, but doesn't seem to like 'schmoozers'. he will split points if possible and knows a good dog when he sees one. Very pleasant gentleman to show to. An excellent judge, he is extremely knowledgeable and couldn't care less who is on the other end of the lead.
Lawrence Stanbridge Hello Marie! Used to be a good judge, fair and honest.
Kathleen Steen Get a handler. She did but up a beautiful owner/handled dog for BISS amongst quite a
few pro handlers. I agree. She has a bad approach to dogs. She doesn't think so. As much as told me so. Will not show to her again. My puppy(Siberian) backed away from her. And as I left the ring she told me I needed to take that puppy to handling classes & get her more socialized because she had a soft hand with puppies & she should not be backing away from her. She may have soft hands but the dogs don't like her approach. These were the puppy's first shows & she has never been right since. As an FYI-she did go to handling classes & had never backed away before.
Ann Marie Taylor Handlers all the way
Ruth Tessendorf Politics big time!!!
Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) Thomas She knows her dogs, is kind & gentle to exhibitors & knows what she wants.
Donovan Thompson The nicest man! Even took some time after judging our breed to "bond" with a dane that had been a little shy with him. I would not hesitate to show to him.  Watch him closely, you will see him smile at the dog/bitch he will likely put up while judging. He is a pleasure to watch and show to. Extremely nice man who appears to really enjoy judging! Good with puppies and makes sure the dog has a good experience in his ring. From what I saw he will do what he wants and is not intimidated by handlers.
Charles Trotter Very pleasant, good hands, somewhat political at the group level.  I say this having won and lost under the man. Has an understanding of a soundly-made example of the breeds he has judged, and I wouldn't hesitate to give him an entry. Seems to have an appreciation for the intent of the various Breed Standards.
Patricia Trotter She is a side gait judge!  Loves good Movement! Looked for movement and type. As far as I can tell judged dogs. Took her time in the ring and gave each dog a deserved look. looks at movement and structure as an integral part of the overall package, and could care less who is holding the leash.
Sharol Candace Way Likes leg, movement
James R. White Hello Jessica!
Paul Wilhauck Puts up his friends
Wendy Wilhauck Handler friends all the way
Ruth Zimmerman Picks people she knows/likes
